Welcome to catholic moms matchmaking!

Mom as Matchmaker?

It sounds archaic to modern ears, but the method is tried and true. In fact, in this age of divorce, the concept of moms (or dads) playing matchmaker for their children is making a comeback. After all, who knows a child better?

If your child is a practicing Catholic, faithful to the Magisterium (no Cafeteria Catholics, please!), and if he or she feels called to the vocation of marriage, come on in and chat with other like-minded parents. Geography should not be a barrier to building strong Catholic families. And if you do not have children of marrying age (as neither founder does), please feel free to join the discussion as well!

Everyone has something to contribute, and we look forward to hearing from you. Let's get to know each other, let's help our children find true and lasting joy through holy marriage, and let's help build up God's Kingdom!

A Message from Co-Founder Leila Miller

When I recently read about mothers who introduced their children to their future spouses (in a secular magazine no less), I was excited. I had already come up with a similar idea: Our circle of Catholic friends includes some of the finest Christians I know, fully faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church, committed to growth in holiness, and generally raising a large brood of children.

How wonderful, I thought, if these kids could one day grow up and fall in love, creating holy families of their own! And what joy if a child of mine were to marry into a family that we already know as dear friends and members of the Body of Christ! Surely God would be pleased, and the Culture of Life would be advanced.

None of my seven children is yet of marrying age, but I felt called to do something to promote Catholic marriage and family life. With the Internet, there are no geographical limitations; Catholic parents can now easily become acquainted and learn about each other's single, adult children who are looking for faithful Catholic spouses.

A Message from Co-Founder Lisa Graas

When Leila first mentioned the idea of a Catholic moms' matchmaking group, I knew I wanted to help. As a passionate Catholic convert and a mother of four, I know how important it is to foster vocations in our children. If a child is called to the vocation of marriage, we Catholic moms want to help our children find a spouse with whom to share an authentically Catholic vision of marriage.

On the supernatural level, the Church encourages us to pray for our children's future spouses. On a practical level, what better way to help our children than to get to know other Catholic families who share the same faith and values? Join us today!
